The ampersand. &. The 'and' sign. Truly one of my favorite characters! I'm excited to add this to our Initial Cap Wax Seal Collection.

Did you know this logogram comes from the ligature of the Latin word et, meaning “and,” and that the word ampersand comes from “and per se and?”
I've created this beautiful decorative ampersand in fine silver precious metal clay. This approximately 3/4" diameter, fine silver [.999] necklace features our design on an organically shaped round, much like the melted wax spreads out beneath the pressure of the stamp.
Each pendant is hand made using a stamp designed by Sandy, then kiln fired, tumbled for strength, and polished. Because each charm is hand made one at a time, each one will have its own character.
