We've Come a Long Way

It may be a little cliché, but we've come a long way, baby!

This month we are celebrating the 4th anniversary of our Mark Your Calendar ™ Collection. And yes, we've come a long way.

I remember it so clearly. I think my husband thought I was having some sort of medical emergency. I stared blankly at him for several moments, not answering his questions, and then announced I'd be back. I headed to the "studio" (aka a small metal desk in our garage). When I emerged a short time later, I had it...my first Mark Your Calendar necklace highlighting our wedding date.

A couple of days later, after taking pictures and writing copy, I created the listing for my Etsy Shop. When the first one sold, I knew I was onto something.

This was different than those vintage calendar charms I'd seen. These would be handmade to order and could look just as the month did that year. I loved that I was married on a Saturday and my calendar necklace would actually show the date on a Saturday instead of being a generic one-layout-fits-all calendar.

Since that day, the Collection has grown to include so much more than that original corner-hang calendar necklace design. You can now order dozens of necklace variations, as well as key chains, money clips, cuff links and bracelets.

I love thinking about how far we've come, but I'm even more excited about what the future holds!
